	The Prophets: Pundits, Politicians, or Prognosticators? Led by Rabbi Jonathan Blake and Cantor Amanda Kleinman Tuesday, May 3 at 11:30am Who were the Biblical Prophets? What were they talking about and whom did they hope to reach? Come explore the literature of the most powerful voices of the Jewish tradition with Rabbi Blake and Cantor Kleinman. Additional dates are May 10, 17 and 24.
	Packing for College Wednesday, May 4 at 6:30pm ADL program facilitator Michelle Geisler will present Words to Action. This program is designed to empower Jewish students, family members, and community members to respond to incidents of anti-Semitism and anti-Israel bias they may encounter on campus. 	Women in the Bible: "Mothers in Ancient Israel" Led by Sorel Goldberg Loeb Thursday, May 5 from 10:00am to 11:30am Join us as we continue our exploration of Mothers in Ancient Israel. What can we learn about the perception and role of women in our tradition from these fascinating stories?
	Yom Hashoah Holocaust Commemoration (offsite) Thursday, May 5, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Westchester County synagogues who have a holocaust rescued Torah, including WRT, will participate in a Holocaust Torah Procession to open the Yom Hashoah Holocaust Commemoration at the Garden of Remembrance, 148 Martine Avenue, White Plains. This ceremony is a joint effort of the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center and the Westchester Jewish Council and will includes remarks by a survivor and elected officials. It is free and open to all.
	Holy Happy Hour with Rabbi Blake Thursday, May 5 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm (offsite) Please RSVP for security purposes to the Temple Office 914-723-7727 Each month Rabbi Blake and a special guest have welcomed WRT members for cocktails, hors d'ouevres, and provocative conversation about the hot topics of our time that affect faith communities with special force. Our guest speaker this month will be Rabbi Stephanie Kolin of Central Synagogue in Manhattan, discussing soical justice in today's Reform Jewish Movement. This is the last scheduled meeting for the series. This adult education program is made possible with support from the Vivienne Sulds Memorial Fund.
	Service of Responsibility Guest speakers: Auschwitz Survivor Gene Klein & Daughter, Author Jill Klein Friday, May 6 at 6:15pm Yom Hashoah - which literally means "Day of Catastrophe" - commemorates the Holocaust (27th day of the month of Nisan; May 5, 2016). Please join with members of the WRT community when we honor this day with our annual Service of Responsibility to remember those who were lost, celebrate those who fought, and honor those who survived to tell their stories. 	Rosh Chodesh, 5776: Holy Envy: Own Faith & Other Faiths Led by Cantor Jill Abramson Tuesday, May 10 at 9:30am Join together with Cantor Abramson and a diverse group of women to investigate being Jewish while affirming the faith of others. The next schudele date is June 7, which will conclude with a luncheon.
	Makom Chodesh: A monthly experience of Meditation and Song with Rabbi Sara Abrams Tuesday, May 10 at 7:00pm Join us to soothe the soul, open and heal the heart, and cultivate a connection to the Divine within. All are welcome.
	Lunch and Learn with Rabbi Blake and guest speaker, Rabbi Michael Boyden Israel: Theocracy or Democracy? Competing Visions of a Jewish State Thursday, May 12 at 11:30am Rabbi Michael Boyden, spiritual leader of Israeli Reform congregation Kehilat Yonatan, played a key role in bringing the Reform voice to Israel's "conversion crisis." His talk will address Israel's unique blend of theocratic and democratic government and the challenges Reform Jews face in navigating the current system.
