Quinn Kott Scholarship
Fifth grade students are eligible to apply for the annual Quinn Kott Scholarship. Completed applications should be turned into the office by Friday, April 29
th. A copy of the application form is attached
here; you may print a copy or pick up a paper copy in the office.
School Council Elections
April 30 - May 1
We have an opportunity to select leaders for our school this weekend. The school council has an incredibly important job in working to advance our school. We are blessed to have highly qualified candidates who have offered to help our school. Please learn about the candidates
here. You may print the ballot and turn it in to the office or you may vote in church this weekend.
Kinder Kick Off
April 28
We invite those interested in SMS Kindergarten to campus on April 28 from 9:30-11. Remember that SMS families get a $100 referral credit if a family registers and attends St. Mary's! Please share this Kindergarten Kick Off information with friends.
Administrative Professionals Day
April 27
This Wednesday is a time to thank our office staff for the wonderful job they do in assisting our students, our parents, and our teachers. They help provide the friendly and helpful environment that makes our school special. It's a good day to say "thank you!"
National Teacher Appreciation Week
May 2-6
May 2-6, National Teacher Appreciation Week, is dedicated to letting your teachers know how much they mean to our families. Please consider having your student write a note of appreciation to their teacher to be given that week.
The Big Give
May 3
St. Mary's will be participating in a 24 hour on line giving campaign on May 3. You will be hearing more about this. St. Mary's has the opportunity to win thousands in prize money! We know how competitive our Apaches are. Let's use that competition for 24 hours to raise funds for our school and WIN MONEY!
Hope for the Future/FACTS
We are not using FACTS for our tuition management for 2016.2017. However, Hope for the Future is using FACTS for scholarship applications. Go to the page

to complete the application form - there is a $30 fee to apply, and families must provide W2's and 1040's to complete the process. The Hope for the Future Office informed our school that they have received less than half of the applications they received from our school last year.

Please join us on Thursday, May 5 beginning at 7am to enjoy breakfast with your student and then stay for mass!

Registration for 2016.2017
We are receiving new registration forms every day. We have computers available to assist you with the registration process and to assist you with the Hope for the Future Scholarship Application. Please call to set an appointment.
Thursday Mass
Our students will attend Mass on Thursday, April 28
th. Students should wear Mass day uniforms. We invite parents to join us for the Mass at 8:00 a.m. The readings for the day can be found at:

Chaplet of Divine Mercy
Our students will gather in church at 3:00 p.m. on Mondays to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. We invite you to join us. We have scheduled this activity to reinforce the Year of Mercy declared by Pope Francis.

Scrip Cards

We need sponsors for the monthly Scrip card drawing. The sponsorship is $100 for any of the months of the year. Please call the school office if you would like to help with this as an individual or a business.
Seventh Grade Fund-Raiser

The seventh graders will also be having a popsicle sale after school on Friday, April 29.
Talent Show

The student council will sponsor a talent show at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 26.
MaiFest Paddle Wheel Prizes
