May 2016
LETTER FROM THE MAYOR
Thank you, Milton.

This has been a tough week in Milton. We tragically lost four North Fulton community members: Christina Devon Semeria, Kayla Leigh Canedo, Brittany Katherine Feldman and Halle Grace Scott, too young and too soon. With tragedy like this you see what communities are made of and I have to say again how proud I am to call Milton home. This place, where my neighbors are friends and we all pull together to show love and support to those in need, is a true community. Thank you, Milton.

My door is always open to your concerns, questions and comments.

With a heavy heart and gratitude,

Mayor Joe Lockwood

SPOTLIGHTS

VETERANS REGISTRATION

We need your help adding to our database of veterans from Milton, both living and fallen, who served in the armed forces. Information on fallen veterans will be assembled and retained by the city as a means of documenting the proud heritage of Milton citizens in service to our country and also for certain memorial observances that may, from time to time, be sponsored by the city. This information will be used to place advertisements in the paper recognizing and listing the name of each Milton living veteran in November for Veterans Day and in May recognizing our fallen veterans for Memorial Day, as well as markers placed out in our community by the Milton Veterans Memorial Markers Non-profit.

2016 Milton Citizen Survey
by The National Citizen Survey

The City of Milton is asking residents to participate in The National Citizen Survey™. The survey is designed to provide a baseline of how your city government is serving you, to gauge perceptions of the City of Milton, and to make comparisons with peer cities.
