Two Daytona State College professors will be among a dozen speakers scheduled to present on Thursday, May 12, at the first-ever Elevate Daytona Beach, an event created by the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Alumni Council.

The event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Daytona State's News-Journal Center located on Beach Street in downtown Daytona Beach.

A light-hearted British police drama
9 p.m.
FREE screening of the award winning documentary " Wings of Victory: Keeping our Warbirds Flying ," about the WWII planes (P-51 Mustang, B-25 and B-17) and the veterans who flew them, will take place Monday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. in DSC's News-Journal Center. 
In addition, a panel discussion with veterans featured in the documentary will be part of the presentation.
