Greetings,

You are invited to join us at Kopernik Saturday, May 14 from 8-10 p.m. for Moonlight Cafe, when our Space Science room turns into a Galactic Cafe where adults mingle while enjoying assorted desserts and delicious coffee and tea. Attendees will be treated to a presentation about Earth's Moon. If clear, view the sparkling night sky and the nearly first quarter Moon as Jupiter and it moons spin nearby! Through Kopernik's telescopes you will see Jupiter's stripes and Great Red Spot! If cloudy, you get a pass to come back another night for telescope viewing. Cost including desserts is $30.

Robert Siegers

As an added treat, be serenaded by Kopernik's very talented Robert Siegers. Robert's nickname,
Banjo Boris, hints to his forte. He is a performer, composer, and instructor with the 5 string banjo, covering a wide range of musical genres: from classical and ragtime to bluegrass and pop. Siegers performs regularly with The Triton Trio, West End, The Brackney String Band, and Watson Abbey.

Register for Moonlight Cafe online or by calling SUNY Broome Community College Continuing Education at 607-778-5012.

Moonlight Cafe at the Kopernik Observatory & Science Center is a wonderful tradition for couples of all ages.

We hope to see you at the event!
