Suicide Prevention Conferences in Middle Tennessee
The Suicide Prevention and the African American Faith Communities Initiatives Committee, The Rutherford County Suicide Prevention Coalition and TSPN would like to invite you to either of two upcoming suicide prevention conferences in the Middle Tennessee area.
Two versions of "Suicide Prevention Conference: Empowering Faith Communities to Foster Resilience: Promoting Safe Stable Nurturing Relationships and Environments" are planned, one in Nashville on May 16, and the other on June 11 in Murfreesboro. Both will focus on the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on children's development, and equip conference participants with community resources that support families and children's wellbeing. These conferences are especially recommended for faith leaders, agencies that support families and children's wellbeing, community advocates, and elected officials.
