TRIVIA! 

Our Club joined Nanoose Bay Probus for a trivia competition on March 30. 
The group of 32 had barrels of fun, divided into teams of four.
The prize was FAME: being named in our e-News!  So the winners are:

1st round - Margaret White, Ian Smith, Heather Popple, Mary Crist.
2nd round - Chuck Swanson, Claudette Biron, Judy Love-Eastham, David White.

It looks like a rematch is in the works for this coming autumn, so stay tuned.

Check out   the calendar on the website to find activities that are going on around our beautiful area as well as our own PROBUS events.

On Friday, May 6 The Queens in Nanaimo is hosting a Rock & Roll Benefit - 70's Night
 to support the Nanaimo Hospital Foundation, with the live band Johnny Inappropriate.  Tickets are $25 each.  Starts at 9pm.

On Saturday, May 7 Parksville-Qualicum Beach Royal LePage is hosting its 8th Annual Garage Sale at St. Stephens Church, 150 Village Way, QB from 9am to 3pm

Oceanside Grandmothers to Grandmothers Bottle Drive is being held Saturday, May 28 between 10am and 2pm.  Please bring your empties to either Eaglecrest Golf Club or Parksville Bottle & Recycling.  Proceeds to Stephen Lewis Foundation to support African grandmothers raising children orphaned by AIDS.
