Down Home Day
May 22, 2016 from 10-4pm
Artful Arrangements is hosting "Down Home Day," a free event for fun-loving pet owners and families on May 22, 2016, from 10am-4pm, on the grounds of a 1915 Sonoma County homestead at 205 Orchard Lane, Penngrove.

Down Home Day is geared toward wholesome, old-fashioned fun. Enjoy live music, fun contests and games including:  cutest baby photo, best hat photo, most amazing pet, hugs & kisses booth, the applesauce challenge, team quest, homestead coloring, and the egg toss, free tours of the Homestead Gardens and the Homestead Grounds, a country BBQ, and so much more!
"There's something for everyone in the family," says coordinator Diane H. Davis, "from the egg toss, to music, to good food, mixed in with an appreciation of art and history, with an eye to the future. So gather the children and their grandparents, and the family dog, and come on down to Down Home Day, and be sure to wear a hat!"

For more information, visit the website , or call 707-664-8656.  Artful Arrangements is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the mission of reminding people to spend time with children, and developing opportunities to do just that. "The children are our future, and the good, long-range decisions people make today determine how things will be," say Diane. "Young families are struggling  to find affordable ways to simply be with their children - before cell phones grab their attention - and children who experience Down Home Day will always remember it."
