Mary, accompany us through
May:
through the day-to-day routines and chores;
through anticipated good times
and unexpected challenges;
through celebrations of church, school,
family and friends;
through opportunities for peace-giving words
and mercy-imparting actions for others in our world;
and in quiet moments of contemplating you and Jesus
in the Gospel stories;
and in the grateful experiences of grace upon grace,
as we live in this season of resurrection hope,
inspired by you as was the early Church.
Amen.

How wonderful the springtime feels! The sunshine and flowers seem to call people out into the neighborhood. Couples walking dogs, little kids on bicycles, moms pushing strollers. I can't really think of a more lovely time in Cleveland than the month of May.

Since May is a Marian month, and Magnificat is the only diocesan high school named after Mary's Canticle, Carol Kovach, editor of the newer diocesan publication Northeast Ohio Catholic, sat down with Sister Helen Jean to talk about "the most famous woman in history" for the April/May 2016 edition. The article references Magnificat, our Mission and the Sisters of the Humility of Mary Community.

Spring Art Show--This Wednesday!
The Magnificat Art Show is this Wednesday,
May 4 from 6-8 p.m.
Come see all the beautiful student artwork, participate in an interactive display, say "cheese" in the photo booth, and enjoy yummy cupcakes and biscotti by the Abolition Bakery,
a "home produced" bakery that exists to bring awareness for the victims of human trafficking. There will also be
