Over his fifty-year career, Robert A.M. Stern has established himself as a true leader in the field of architecture. Robert A.M. Stern Architects' design for 70 Vestry embodies the best of classical architecture while remaining rooted in its downtown context; the stone façade and decorative metalwork carry echoes of Tribeca's collection of century-old loft warehouses. Stepping in towards its crown, generous terraces grace many residences. The rhythm of the limestone façade is punctuated by oversized casement windows, from which residents gaze west across the Hudson, taking in breathtaking views of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

The sofa was also shoved up against the window, implying that the room was small. The extra long red carpet also accentuated this giving the room a bowling alley feel.
Clutter was removed, colors were neutralized, with lamps brought in for warmth & light.

Cher. The Diva turns 70.
It is impossible for me to imagine a world without Cher. Her career started just before my arrival in 1964, and she has been inspiring us ever since. No other artist has achieved her longevity nor her success of having Number One hits in every decade since she began to sing. That is 6 decades if you are counting!
She changes with the times; her look, her sound, her songs...but always remains the same divalicious Cher we have always loved.

Every month I highlight a lovely dog that is looking for their forever home courtesy of our friends at SeeSpotRescued. Zarina Mak and her amazing team has done such great work at assisting scores of homeless dogs to start a new life with their new adopted families.
I was so lucky to have met Zarina at SSR, who then introduced me to the one and only Dasher Delmonico, who has turned my house upside down in the most delightful way. I could not imagine my home without his him. Our little matchmaker, Miss Zarina found the perfect fit for this handsome guy, with his grand attitude and loving ways.
