WaterBotics is an exciting project and summer camp curriculum for students at the middle and high school levels in which they build fully submersible robots. Using a great variety of LEGO pieces, their robots become increasingly complex and able to complete sophisticated underwater tasks. In the process, the students gain knowledge in several areas of science, engineering, and technology. There is still time to apply!

June 7-9, 2016 - Austin, TX
Are you interested in opening up the world of coding, programming and computational thinking to your students? Are you looking for new ways to make learning meaningful, engaging and relevant to the world in which your students live? Do you want to help your "digital natives" to move beyond being consumers of technology and become creative and innovative technology producers? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the inaugural WeTeach_CS Summit is for educators like YOU!

Submissions open from March 1 - May 31, 2016
We are looking for 1 to 2 minute videos that introduce a particular mega-engineering project, highlight its importance/contribution to people and society, and suggest contributions to its development.  The Grand Prize of $25,000 will go to the most inspiring video. We hope that you will participate in the contest and also encourage those in your communities to enter as well!

For teachers who attend a FREE Code.org workshop, Changing Expectations will provide Coding Camp planning support and pay a stipend for you to facilitate a Coding Camp that allows even the youngest students to explore the limitless world of computing. Funding to hire up to three coding helpers and to purchase camp snacks will also be provided.
