ALAN Online News - September 2013
Special Workshop Panel Preview
If you aren't already registered for the 2013 ALAN Workshop in Boston, it's time to sign up. This issue of ALAN Online News is a special preview of all the great panels, talks, and breakouts participants can expect this year. You can find additional information on the website

From the breakfast on Saturday morning with Walter Dean Myers and Judy Blume to the authors' reception Sunday evening (more on that in next month's newsletter) and on to two days of immersion in the world of young adult literature, ALAN President Jeffrey Kaplan and the workshop committee have put together a program celebrating ALAN's 40 years of advocacy for books that speak to teens. We'll  remember groundbreaking YA authors and salute a new generation of writers whose work will take us through the next four decades. You won't want to miss it so register soon.

An added bonus: A full membership, including all three 2014 issues of the ALAN Review, is free to all paid workshop registrants - what a great deal!
