This spring, Total Equity Now's all-volunteer team is partnering with public libraries in Harlem and the South Bronx to raise awareness about library resources and programming, help community members sign up for library cards, and encourage everyone to read publicly and proudly.
On April 1, in Harlem, we teamed up with the Hamilton Grange Library and were joined by an enthusiastic group of young reading activists from The Brotherhood-Sister Sol's After School Program (
click here to view photos). Meanwhile, in the South Bronx, we joined forces with the Morrisania Library and its literacy-loving neighbors (
