Thank you for helping us...

We had an AMAZING event on the 15th of April, surpassing our fundraising goal for the year of $35,000!  An additional $6,600 was raised during our Call of the Heart, making it possible to extend our reading series to support both Kindergarten and Grade 5.  Be on the lookout for school improvements and projects that will take place thanks to the generosity of our parents and parishioners
The site-visit team spent 4 days with us this week, reviewing the curriculum, visiting classrooms, interviewing our faculty and staff, and were overall very impressed with what they learned.  They said "the Holy Spirit is smiling down on this school" when referring to the strong Catholic identity they observed in our day-to-day school life.  We look forward to implementing any recommendations they may offer in their final report so as to continue improving the excellent Catholic education we offer our families. The team will submit a draft of their final report to NEASC, who will then review the report and vote on our school's re-accreditation in the end of June.  We hope to have word from NEASC on the results of their vote in the beginning of July.  We are very grateful to our staff and families for your prayers and support throughout this process!

It has been a busy week back at school, highlighted by our NEASC team visit and IOWA testing!  Our students came back after vacation ready for action, as they tackle the remainder of the final trimester of learning.

A special thanks to our School Events Committee for all of their hard work preparing and executing a successful gala!  Under the direction and leadership of chairperson, Laura Duarte, sponsorships were attained, donations were made and an awesome, successful evening was experienced by all!  The excitement associated with raising money for our school is beyond words.... thank you for your generosity!

Our next School Events Committee meeting is this coming Monday the 2nd at 7pm in the library.  While we are winding down after a busy year of event planning and fundraising, there are a few items left on our school year agenda that may be of interest.  Please feel free to join us if you are able.
God bless and enjoy the weekend!
~ Mrs. Russo
