The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is an invaluable free service for low and moderate-income taxpayers which saves them tax preparation fees and connects them to income boosting tax credits, such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). Annually, the VITA Coalition recruits and trains 200+ individuals to become IRS-certified volunteers who provide free tax preparation services.
Fortunately, with support from partners like Bank of America, we're able to help make a difference by connecting individuals and families with basic, yet critical, human services.
