* Congrats to Port City Club for winning Elevate Lifestyle's Best of City Award for lakeside dining.
 
* Vinyl Pi Pizza Joint & Bar and the Cork & Cask have partnered to establish Craft for Critters, Helping Animals One Sip at a Time, a nonprofit organization benefiting animals in need.  Vinyl Pi will present the Shakedown Concert Series on Sat, May 14 featuring 4 bands with a portion of proceeds going to the nonprofit.
 
* Time to celebrate! Ass Clown Brewing Company will celebrate its 5 year anniversary Sat, May 14 with special beer releases: 3 year aged sour and 12% barrel aged special as well as live music, food trucks and raffles.

* Primal Brewery will host Primal Jam on Sat, May 14 beginning at 3pm. The true NC music event will feature local band, Up Town Drive and Winston Salem band, Atomic Roots as well as a food truck.

SPORTS
*  My Aloha Paddle & Surf , in partnership with 3-time NASCAR champion crew chief Ray Evernham, will host the 2 nd annual Stand Up for Autism to benefit the IGNITE community center and the Autism Society of NC on Lake Norman May 13-14 at Port City Club in Cornelius. Professional paddlers will compete in the WPA sanctioned race along with having a recreational division. Click here  to register. *  International Senior Softball Association's Spring Nationals returns to Lake Norman May 13-15. The senior softball sanctioned event will bring in close to 50 teams from across the east coast. Play will be held at Bradford Park and North Meck Park in Huntersville.
