Aaron and Amanda Bolinger, owners of Bock Identi Company toured the class around the facility where they make identification tags for livestock. These tags help the farmers keep better track of their livestock so they keep better records on medications.

Aaron has worked all across the United States and feels that the midwest has the best work ethic. He has been to China and managed workers in manufacturing workers in  Mexico and said it is difficult for those employees to realize that a profit must be made to be successful.
Michael Smith of Consolidated Communications shared the history of how Consolidated Communications was started by Mr. Lumpkin, an entrepreneurial dentist who bought the first phone system in Mattoon. Consolidated is growing through acquisitions and they look for companies that have a healthy revenue streams, fiber cables laid and a synergy to enhance their system. 
John Woodruff, Kevin Swan and Christa Packer then toured the group through the area that stores all of the servers, data and other technology.
