Milestones: Courage starts as a whisper but becomes a roar

The fight for universal education and human rights is often a quiet one. It is not front page news, and it doesn't trend on twitter. The issues are only given a microphone or a spot on primetime TV when tragedy strikes.  Why does it take death , as in the case with the Paris massacre, or violence, as in the case of Malala Yousafzai being shot, to get the public's attention?

CAI Teacher Training

A CAI supported  teacher training  was held January 1 to 17, 2016 for 74 teachers (14 male and 57 female) from seven different districts of Gilgit, Baltistan. Many traveled for days to attend, some with their young children in tow.
