Volunteer Day at Broad Meadow Brook
Help care for the sanctuary and enjoy a few hours of fresh air, fun and fulfillment. Put up signs and markers, look for wildlife tracks, pick up branches, fill bird feeders, tend the gardens, and distribute program information. Ability to work without supervision required; carpentry skills welcome; nature lovers appreciated.

Studio Art Senior Thesis Exhibit
This annual exhibition showcases the work of graduating studio art majors who have undertaken senior thesis projects. The exhibit is free and open to the public, and will be open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 12-5pm.

Escape the Room Challenge
You are invited to try and escape our locked room where only the savviest, most observant puzzle masters and crafty code-breakers will be successful in escaping with the evidence we need to solve a mind-boggling mystery. Thanks to a generous donation from the Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library, this Escape Room game will be 100% FREE! The only catch is you have to register, and space is limited.

And check out The Gulf, an exhibit of large-scale photographs by Camilo Ramirez, that explore the intertwining of history, industry, and natural resources. As part of ArtWeek Boston, Ramirez will give an artist talk at 5:45 PM, immediately before the opening. Free and open to the public.

Girl Scout Journey to WOW (Wonders of Water)
Take part in hands-on, STEM-based activities that bring alive the Wonders of Water. Visit a wetland to discover what lives in and around it. Scoop pond water and use magnifiers to identify tiny swimming creatures. Explore the water cycle and find out what you can do to conserve water. Open to troops and girls with an adult. Cost: $7
