Back then, a simple principal of balance became the guiding notion for the most modern, energy efficient material handling crane in the world. Now that guiding principal has driven growth and created innovative solutions for material handling problems around the world.

Who could foresee that a small Belgium firm would be creating news on 4 continents at the same time? Our colleagues are involved in Trade Missions in Asia, new service agreements in Mexico and Argentina, participation in International trade shows in the USA and Brazil all during the same week as well as sales and service work around the world.

Our commitment to providing low cost world class equipment, outstanding service, technical support and innovative material handling solutions will continue to drive our growth.

Indonesia, Thank You For Your Hospitality!

E-Crane Worldwide is proud to be a part of a large Belgian Trade Mission, presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid, in Indonesia from March 12 - 19. With 301 participants, it was the largest ever Belgian Economic Mission to Southeast Asia's largest economy. Belgium is the fifth-largest investor from the European Union (EU) in the Indonesian economy.

E-Crane's participation underlines E-Crane's strong ties in the country and its commitment to bring superior bulk material handling solutions to the Indonesian and Asian marketplace.

During the event, E-Crane, represented by Lieven Bauwens and Bas Tolhuizen, had the honor of signing a long term, all-in maintenance contract with its valued customer, Bayan Resources in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid. Bayan Resources, represented by Dato' Dr. Low Tuck Kwong, President Commissioner, and Mr. Chin Wai Fong, President Director and Chief Executive Officer , owns and operates a floating E-Crane in Central Kalimantan, used for unloading coal.

New Barge Mounted E-Crane at Mulzer Crushed Stone

In early 2016, Mulzer Crushed Stone ordered a Series 1500B / Model 11264 E-Crane which will be mounted on a deck barge. The E-Crane has a maximum duty cycle capacity of 16.5 Mtons (18.2 UStons) and a maximum outreach of 26.4 meters (86.5 feet). This is a flexible mobile floating offloading platform that allows barge unloading to a shore mounted hopper, floating hopper or direct to trucks depending on the product and location.

The floating rig incorporates the latest design for spud operation, barge haul winches and power distribution. This is the third E-Crane purchased by Mulzer since 2011. The first E-Crane was also a barge mounted 1500 Series / Model 11264 for handling aggregate. They were very pleased with the installation and successful performance of this E-Crane.

Last Week Was a Busy One for E-Crane USA

During the week of April 4th, E-Crane USA was present at multiple tradeshows around the world. From April 4 - 6, E-Crane attended the ISRI Convention and Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada. ISRI, the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, is the largest tradeshow in the USA for the scrap recycling industry.

From April 5 - 7, E-Crane also attended the Intermodal Show in São Paulo, Brazil. This was E-Crane's first time attending this show. Intermodal showcases solutions and services related to logistics, cargo transport, and international trade.
