SURVIVOR SPEAKER SERIES
Natalie Gold
Sunday, May 29, at 2:00pm

Natalie was born in Radzymin, Poland, just after the outbreak of World War II. Aware of the precarious situation, her parents did not register her birth. With the local Jewish population being moved into a ghetto, Natalie's parents left her on a doorstep with a cross and a piece of paper to take care of her. They watched from afar as the family brought her to the police station. Natalie ended up in a Catholic orphanage where she lived unaware of her identity. Natalie's father survived the Holocaust and traveled on a bicycle looking for his daughter. He was finally able to locate her and identify her based on her birthmark. Natalie and her father eventually settled in the United States. She is actively involved in the LAMOTH community and educational programs.

You can see artifacts reflecting Natalie's experiences in our weekly Survivor Speaker micro-exhibit, located near the front desk.

A docent-led tour of the Museum will immediately follow.
