Parents and the community are invited to attend all school celebrations and award ceremonies that will held during the last week of school.  Listed below are the events scheduled for each of our schools.

Centennial Arts Academy
    • May 17 -  Second Grade Musical at 6:00 p.m.
    • May 18 - Fifth Grade Breakfast at 7:45 a.m.
    • May 19- Groundbreaking Ceremony at 5:00 p.m.
Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy
    • May 17 - Fourth & Fifth Grade Musical at 6:00 p.m.
    • May 19 - End of Year Awards for K - 3rd Grades:      
    •      1st Grade - 9:30 a.m. 
    •      2nd Grade - 12:00 p.m.  
    •      3rd Grade - 1:15 p.m.     
    •      K - 8:15 a.m.
    • May 20 - End of Year Awards for 4th - 5th Grades:    
    •      4th Grade - 8:15 a.m.                                            
    •      5th Grade - 9:30 a.m.
 
Fair Street IB World School
    • May 19 - Honors Upper School at 8:00 a.m. & Lower School  at 9:30 a.m.
    • May 20 - Fifth Grade Commencement at 8:30 a.m.

Gainesville Exploration Academy
    • May 19 - Fifth Grade Celebration at 1:00 p.m.
    • May 20 - Talent Show
    •       Grades K - 1 at 8:00 a.m.
    •       Grades  2- 3 at 9:15 a.m.
    •       Grades 4 - 5 at 10:30 a.m.

New Holland Knowledge Academy
    • May 17 - Pre-K Class Celebration at 9:00 a.m.
    • May 18 - Kindergarten Awards at 10:00 a.m.
    • May 19 - Block Party from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
    • May 20 - Fifth Grade Graduation - 9:00 a.m     
    •       Elephant Walk for Fifth Grade - 9:45 a.m.          
    •       Student Kickball Tournament - All Day
 
Gainesville Middle School
    • May 19 - 8th Grade Awards Gala - 6:00 p.m.

Wood's Mill High School Commencement
 
Commencement Exercises for Wood's Mill High School will be held on Thursday, May 19 at 6:00 p.m. at the GHS Performing Arts Center. 
 
     Gainesville High School Commencement        

Gainesville High School will hold Graduation Commencement Exercises on Friday, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. at City Park Stadium.  

Weather Contingency Plan:

If Gainesville High School can't hold graduation outside on Friday due to weather conditions, then graduation will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 10:00 AM at City Park.

If weather conditions prohibit graduation to be held on Saturday 10:00 AM at City Park, then graduation may be moved to 7:00 PM that evening at City Park.

If all of these options are not possible, graduation will be held at the New Gym at Gainesville High School at 7:00 PM Saturday night. TICKETS WILL BE REQUIRED IF GRADUATION IS MOVED TO THE NEW GYM.  If necessary, tickets will be issued at Friday morning practice.

Graduation Parking Information

Guest parking for the event will be available at designated areas. Shuttles to the stadium will be located at First Baptist Church and Lakewood Baptist Church. Please be aware that Longstreet Circle will be closed from Riverside Drive to Longstreet Place to allow special guest parking and bus shuttle drop-off/pickup. Beginning at 5:00 p.m., Green Street traffic will be stopped periodically to allow guests to cross the street.
