A Special Invitation:

Dear Women of Grace,

What joy sings in my heart as I welcome you to our 2016 Women of GraceĀ® Retreat! I am delighted to see you and am confident "every spiritual blessing in the heavens" is available to you this weekend.

We are living in a most unprecedented time. And, because the challenges are so great, God is offering us unprecedented graces to be more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. In this Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy we have a unique opportunity to receive from the celestial treasure house the richest of heavenly blessings.

One of the greatest gifts I believe God is offering us is a mystical union with Our Blessed Lady and the interior facility to "take on" her attributes, virtues, and divine pleasures. While this may seem outside the realm of possibility, many of the great saints speak of this and St. Maximilian Kolbe even goes so far as to say it is a "type of transubstantiation" into Mary. We become in persona Mariae," the purpose of which is to give "birth" to Jesus Christ in our day and time. Perhaps it is in precisely this way that the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady will triumph, and the head of the serpent will be smitten in our hearts, our land, our culture, and our families.

And so it is that we take on the mission of this retreat and come to know more deeply Our Lady, Our Queen, Our Mother of Mercy, Our Refuge on the Battlefield of Life. What will she show us? What will she tell us? What will she offer us as her daughters? All of this we will discover together this weekend.

I faithfully remain, your sister in Christ,
Johnnette's Signature

and understand wounds which are holding me captive and helped me better understand my vocation and dignity as a woman and daughter of God and
our role in the culture at this point in history."

"I met new sisters in Christ who love the Catholic Church and who I know will be friends forever."

"Excellent speakers with a REAL message--grounded in the Bible, Christ-centered--who live a holy life. "

"Loved the teachings, the Mass, sacraments offered. I felt that the Mass on Sunday morning made me feel that I was standing in the tabernacle of the Lord among true women of grace."

About Our Speakers:

Johnnette S. Benkovic is Founder and President of Women of GraceĀ®, a Catholic apostolate for women featuring a number of outreaches including conferences, media, study groups and more.  After years of being a non-practicing Catholic, Johnnette experienced a deep conversion back to her Catholic faith in 1981. Her conversion sparked a new vocation: sharing the Gospel message through the utilization of media. She has been an inspiring and consistent presence on Catholic radio (1987) and in Catholic television (1988) ever since.

Fr. Joseph Mary Wolfe, M.F.V.A., is the Chaplain of the Eternal Word Television Network where he initially came to work in 1985 as an engineer.  Two years later he became one of the founding members of the men's community which Mother Angelica founded in 1987: the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word. The motto of the friars is: The lost I will seek out, the strayed I will bring back.  They do so by utilizing the modern means of communication reaching millions of souls throughout the world.  Fr. Joseph was ordained to the priesthood in 1993 and often celebrates the daily televised Mass.  He has produced a Pro-life Rosary which airs on Saturdays and a television series on the faith of farmers in his homeland of Eastern Iowa entitled Faith in the Heartland. He also hosts an ongoing EWTN television series on Lay Movements in the Church entitled: The Church Universal.

Fr. John Paul Mary, MFVA was born and raised in New Freedom, Pennsylvania. While growing up he enjoyed skateboarding and rollerblading. After high school he worked full-time for a hardware store and devoted much time and attention to his fixing and modifying his show car. He went back to school in the late 1990's and earned an associate's degree in engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology in 2000. Feeling a call to the priesthood, he became a seminarian for the Diocese of Harrisburg, PA shortly after his graduation. During his philosophical studies at the Pontifical College Josephinum, he visited the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word. Following his graduation from seminary, he entered the MFVA community in October 2004. Fr. John Paul completed his theological studies at Mount St. Mary's Seminary in May 2012, earning a Masters in Divinity. He was ordained in June 2013.

Kinsey entitled, "The Kinsey Corruption," published by Ascension Press. She has devoted her life and talents to building up the Church and tearing down the culture of death, and is pleased that the Lord has called her to LHLA/Women of Grace to continue this vocation. Susan is single and writes for us from her home in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Thomas K. Sullivan began a career serving in the United States Military (U.S. Navy and Coast Guard) at the young age of 17. During his 12 years of service, Tom spent 5 of those years as a Company Commander in the US Navy, training young men and women in the ways of military life, and was awarded the designation as a "Master Training Specialist". Little did he know God was grooming him for a training field much bigger than he could imagine. At the age of 30, Tom returned to the Catholic Faith and found his true mission in life. He has spent the past 24 years in Catholic evangelization, education and apologetics. Since 2001, Tom has worked for Living His Life Abundantly International/Women of Grace where he currently serves as the Director of Operations, Director of Information Technology and Network Administrator. Tom is also the producer of the Television program "Women of Grace" on the EWTN television network.  He is the author of Called to Knighthood and the creator of the Warrior's Rosary.
