New Leadership in CVB
Lawanna Lambert, former Interim Director and State Association Sales Specialist for the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of
Odessa has been officially appointed the Director of the Odessa CVB.

The primary objective of the Odessa CVB is to create maximum hotel occupancy within the city through a destination marketing program aimed at attracting and securing overnight visitors. Through this objective, the Odessa CVB is dedicated to promoting tourism within Odessa and the Permian Basin. The tourism experience in Odessa is based off of a combination of grit from the prosperous oil industry, a unique and bustling arts scene, travel to and from the several surrounding National and State Parks, and numerous accommodations options with over 4000 hotel rooms.

Lawanna is an Odessa native and has been with the Odessa CVB for over three years. She is a recent graduate of the University of Texas Permian Basin and has plans to continue her education to obtain her Master's degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
