TENNESSEE: INTRODUCING YOUR  FIRST REGIONAL REP 
 
Attention Tennessee playwrights! C. Kay "Andy" Landis is the first Dramatists Guild Regional Rep for Tennessee - and she wants to hear from you.




C. Kay "Andy" Landis' plays include The Volunteer, A Special Day, Praying for a Hurricane, Camden on Ice, Hating Hope, and Whatever. Her full-length play The Volunteer was a semi-finalist in the 2016 O'Neill National Playwright Conference, won the 2015 Centre Stage New Play Festival, and was a semi-finalist for both the 2015 Ashland New Plays Festival and the 2015 Playwrights' Center Core Apprenticeship. The Volunteer will be produced at Centre Stage in September 2016. Her short and 10-minute plays have been produced and developed by Warner Theater Festival, Ramapo College Theater Festival, ATHE, The Great Plains Theatre Conference, and Metropolitan Theatre Festival.  Her short play, Whatever, was a 2014 Kennedy Center ACTF finalist. Landis was a 2005 guest artist for the Kennedy Center playwriting intensive. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, ATHE, BMI, NARAS, SAG/AFTRA, the Ninth Floor Playwrights in New York, and a founding member of the Dramatists Guild's Women's Initiative. She earned an MFA in writing for stage and screen from Lesley University.
