A river-to-river pilgrimage across NJ
July 25-30

Walk with Bishop Beckwith across the diocese from the Delaware River to the Hudson River the week of July 25-30. This is an opportunity to be part of a prayerful pilgrimage in which we look for how we can join God in shaping the future of our diocese. You can participate for an hour of worship, a day of walking, a meal, or the whole pilgrimage. Find out more.

Canonical deadline for 2015 Congregational Audits is Wednesday, June 1
All congregations are canonically required to submit an audit of all of the books and records on an annual basis, using the Audit Guidelines. Find out more.

Deadline for June 15 issue of The VOICE Online is Friday, June 10
In June, July and August The Voice Online will be published once a month on the third Wednesday; the deadline to submit items to be considered for inclusion is the Friday before.
 
The July issue of Leadership News - key information for clergy and lay leaders from Episcopal House - will be published Wednesday, June 29.

Election Toolkit helps Episcopalians engage in nonpartisan activities
The 2016 election in the United States remains the top of the news in media outlets, and it is inevitably a topic in personal conversations. To provide education about the election as well as assisting in being prepared, The Episcopal Church has developed an online toolkit with a webpage that outlines how individual Episcopalians and congregations can participate in the electoral process through a number of nonpartisan activities. Ways and resources to observe World Refugee Day on June 20
In 2000, the United Nations named June 20 as World Refugee Day, deeming it an annual opportunity to celebrate the resilience and success of the former refugees who bless our communities with their wisdom and irrepressible spirit and to examine the root causes of violence and persecution that force people to flee at an alarming rate. What congregations need to know about the Zika virus 
Responding to the concerns of Episcopal congregations planning summer camps and mission trips, Episcopal Relief & Development assembled a taskforce of experts in public health and safety, disaster response, church programs and communications to sort through the information floating around about the Zika virus, and to create a resource that would help Episcopal churches in the United States to respond appropriately. Church Pension Group releases 2015 Denominational Health Plan Annual Report
The Denominational Health Plan (DHP), established by the 2009 General Convention through Resolution 2009-A177 and its associated canon, helps domestic dioceses, congregations and other institutions subject to the authority of The Episcopal Church control the rising costs of healthcare. The 2015 Annual Report, published pursuant to General Convention Resolution 2012-B026, summarizes more recent developments with the DHP. Go to the report.
