Local Families Need Your Help!
|
With the school year starting earlier this year, Families Forward has already begun preparations for our Back to School clothing and supply distribution for kids in our area.
Last year, with your generous support, Families Forward served over 1,300 children, ensuring they were prepared for the first day of school!
This year our goal is to serve at least 1,500 children, but we can't do it without your help! Take a look at our most needed items.
New this year, Families Forward will be providing children with haircuts so they are feeling confident as the head back to school. For more information on how you can get involved

Over 35 Fiat employees, from all over California, came together to help build a storage unit they donated to Families Forward! This unit will hold the essential items families need as they move into their new homes and start their journey to self-sufficiency.
In addition, the Fiat team did an incredible job helping us prepare for our Back to School program, sorting food donations in our pantry, and much more!

OC, over $3.25 million was raised for Orange County non-profits.
Thank you for your support of Families Forward! Through your donations and bonus funds provided through OCCF, Families Forward anticipates receiving $60,000! These funds will ensure that more children have a roof over their heads. We greatly appreciate these generous gifts!

Help Feed Local Children This Summer!
|
In Orange County,
49% of children in public schools receive free and reduced lunch during the school year but, when school is out for the summer, parents have to find a way to make up for the meals their children are not receiving at school.
Many turn to Families Forward to help fill that gap.
During the summer months, the amount of food in Families Forward's pantry sinks to extremely low levels with shelves and bins nearly empty.
If you are able to get involved you can
host a food drive or donate food directly to our program center. Your effort will help restock our pantry shelves and enable Families Forward to
serve 100+ families per week! If you have any questions or want more information on how to get involved, contact

Building Neighborhoods with Bank of America

Families Forward is proud to share that we were awarded Bank of America's prestigious Neighborhood Builder grant! This $200,000 grant will help to ensure more families are able to find a place they can call home.
