Recovery Specialists from Eva's Village are now on call and on-site in the Emergency Room at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, to engage patients who have been reversed from an opioid overdose. Eva's Recovery Specialists, who are themselves in recovery from addiction, will provide peer- to-peer advice, counseling and guidance to help patients and families connect with treatment and recovery services in the communities where they live, with follow-up for 12 weeks after a reversal.
