25th May 2016

On Saturday 4th June @ 8pm, the fabulous STREET REQUIEM
(in memory of those who have died on the streets) is returning to Brisbane after a sell-out performance in 2015. See it before it reaches Carnegie Hall, New York in September.
Don't miss it this time.

Then on Sunday 5th June @ 3pm, we are proud to present NO EXCUSES! (Women singing out against domestic violence) for the first time in Brisbane. Watch the 100+ women's chorus perform this very moving work.

Following No Excuses! you'll be entertained by our fabulous and fun choir performances in our Festival Finale Concert - "Puttin' on the Ritz" with Dr Kirby Shaw from the USA. You'll see our massed choir which has come together just for this Festival, Musica, the Mt Maria College Choir and also a very special performance by our very own Absolutely Everybody Brisbane Choir:
The Absolutely Everybody Brisbane Choir

By attending our events, you will not only support the fantastic work of the singers involved in the Festival, but also the work of the School of Hard Knocks . Proceeds will support the School and its provision of arts and cultural programs for the marginalised and vulnerable.
