NFF to Release 2017 College Football Hall of Fame Ballot June 1
|
The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame will announce the names on the 2017 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame on June 1.

The 2017 College Football Hall of Fame ballot will be emailed to members on June 1 and the voting deadline is June 20.

NFF Board Member and College Football Hall of Famer Troy Aikman (UCLA) will be inducted into the State of Oklahoma Hall of Fame on Nov. 17 in Oklahoma City.
College Football Hall of Famers Joe Bellino (Navy) and Doug Flutie (Boston College) will be honored at the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association's inaugural Legends Event on June 16 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. NFF Board Member and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his family will receive the MIAA Humanitarian Award.
College Football Hall of Famer Chris Spielman (Ohio State) is returning to FOX Sports as an NFL and college football analyst.
College Football Hall of Famer Jay Berwanger (Chicago [Ill.]) will be posthumously
inducted
into the United States Rugby Hall of Fame on June 4 in Philadelphia.
A new statue of College Football Hall of Fame coach Hayden Fry will be unveiled to the public during this year's FRYfest celebration in Coralville, Iowa, on Sept. 2.
College Football Hall of Famer Floyd Little (Syracuse)
will be a presenter
at the Manlius Pebble Hill School's 2016 Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony on June 4 in Syracuse, N.Y.
College Football Hall of Famer Sean Brewer (Millsaps [Miss.]) was recently profiled by The Vicksburg Post.
College Football Hall of Famer Fred Biletnikoff (Florida State) will be inducted into the State of Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Oct. 22. Longtime college football offensive lineman Joe Moore will also be inducted.
2015 NFF National Scholar-Athlete Jordan Italiano will be Kent State's male recipient of the MAC Medal of Excellence Award on June 1.
2015 NFF Gold Medal recipient Condoleezza Rice will keynote the 2016 KPMG Women's Leadership Summit in June.
2014 NFF Gold Medal recipient Dr. Tom Catena, the only doctor for a million people living in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan, is the subject of an upcoming film titled, "Heart of Nuba." The film hopes to bring the world's attention to the area and raise money to support Dr. Tom's work. The NFF would also like to congratulate Dr. Tom on his recent marriage.
2008 NFF John L. Toner Award recipient and Ohio State athletics director Gene Smith was named the 2016 Sports Business Journal Athletics Director of the Year.

The NFF Miami Touchdown Club (Fla.) Chapter selected Orlando Hurtado of Felix Varela Senior High School as its 2016 Miami Touchdown Club Scholar Athlete Award winner and scholarship recipient.
The NFF State of Maine Chapter will hold its scholar-athlete banquet May 25 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
Bob Keropian, president of the NFF Northern California Chapter and former NFF West Region Coordinator,
will be inducted
into the Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame on June 8 at the Green Hills Country Club in Millbrae, Calif.
The NFF Joe Tiller/Northwest Indiana Chapter's scholar-athlete banquet will take place June 10 at the Purdue Memorial Union Ballroom in West Lafayette, Ind.
