CORRECTION:
 City Sticker Changes
Dear neighbor,

My most recent newsletter contained a piece of incorrect information concerning city vehicle sticker reminders.  Below is the corrected information.

Contrary to what was said, the Office of the City Clerk will in fact continue to send courtesy reminders of Chicago City Vehicle Stickers via US Mail or email.  There are no plans to stop the mailings or email reminders to motorists as part of an effort to help prevent you from receiving tickets for noncompliance.

Please keep in mind, however, that these reminders are a courtesy  and you may not receive one. Be sure to check your Vehicle Sticker expiration date to ensure that you are not ticketed. The rules regarding the grace period have changed , making you eligible to be ticketed immediately following your vehicle sticker's expiration date.

I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact my office by email or phone, 773-348-9500, or the City Clerk's office directly at
(312) 742-5375.

Sincerely,
