Our faculty for May is "Power" and this Sunday we'll think about the ways we move through this world, our lives, as the powerful human and spiritual expressions that we are. How are we interacting with others we meet on the journey? Can we learn to accept all people as they are? Also to consider: are you focused on a destination? On points along the way? Or are you simply allowing the movement and the moment to carry you forward? The intention of and attention to our walk can make all the difference in our journey -- and yes, all choices are "good." We hope you'll include some time to be at Unity Athens this Sunday as part of your "walking in the world."

 About Jennifer:
An award-winning song writer and dynamic entertainer, Jennifer has released multiple CD projects. She has provided opening music for some of the world's greatest New Thought speakers including Deepak Chopra, Alan Cohen and Neal Donald Walsh. Jennifer performs as both guest musician and guest speaker for Unity, CSL and New Thought centers throughout the United States. A past seven-year member of the Unity Worldwide Ministries National Music Ministry Team, Jennifer was also chosen for the 2011 United Centers for Spiritual Living National Music Team.
9:40 to 10:20, Every Sunday:
Morning Quietude
consists of gently guided meditation graced often with the presence of Reiki healers in a calm, comforting setting with soft music or profound silence. Join us in our the Meditation Room from 9:40 to 10:20 for this time of peaceful, contemplative meditation. Love offering basis.
Tuesday Afternoon and Wednesday Night Book Study Groups have completed their most recent books and are taking a pause before the next selections. Stay tuned for July & August schedules.
EVERY SUNDAY, 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm, A COURSE IN MIRACLES is t
aught by Drew Smith, an engaging and insightful facilitator. This popular class dives deeply into A COURSE, while making the text even more understandable and relevant to daily life. Open to all. If you don't own the book, there's always someone willing to share. Because of the ongoing nature of this class, feel free to stop in as you can, or to participate every Sunday. Love offerings are accepted and appreciated.
Noon meditations every Wednesday in the sanctuary. 12:00 to 12:45. Take a mid-week break to connect & center. Led by Rev. Bronte and others. Donation basis. Experience soft music and deep quiet as we c
enter & align consciousness. Meditation time is often enhanced by Silent Unity readings, the reading of the Daily Word, and/or readings from sacred texts. There is always at least 25 minutes of silent meditation. Feel free to enter softly after we begin, or leave quietly before we end. Many enjoy this as a "sacred break" from their workday.

Our lovely new location is in the Bells Shopping Center, 995 Hawthorne Avenue, Athens 30606, Suite 105, next to the Project Safe Thrift Store. We are blessed with a large sanctuary plus classrooms and a large CommUnity Room.
Directions
from our former location at Family Counseling: Turn right out of the driveway. Go 0.7 miles to the Hawthorne intersection (stoplight) and turn left. Go another 0.7 miles to turn into the second entrance to Bells Plaza Shopping Center and go to the side of the center that faces Burger King. We are between the Coin Laundry and Project Safe, facing Burger King.
Directions from Prince Ave: Go north on Prince to Hawthorne Ave.; turn left; we are just past Burger King on the right. (Hawthorne Ave. is a left-only turn, located between the Loop 10 Southbound ramp [right turn] and the Loop 10 Northbound ramp [left turn]).
