"Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone's hand is the beginning of a journey.
At other times, it is allowing another to take yours."

~ Vera Nazarian, The Perpetual Calendar of Inspiration

The journey of life is full of obstacles, dead ends, unexpected turns, buried treasure and even hidden oasis!

When you are able to experience and share all the ups and downs with the support of loved ones and others who care, the path becomes easier, more enjoyable, and more free-ing.  It's simple to sit back and let the world pass by, but we were created for connection.  Supportive connection is vital to one's health and well-being, and it frees the soul to reach one's highest potential.

It takes courage to reach out and ask for or offer help.  If you know or see someone struggling (mentally, emotionally, physically, or spiritually) and you are unsure how to offer support in a gentle, non-confrontive or meddling way, ask yourself how would you want someone to reach out to you?  You don't have to have all the right answers...presence, acknowledgement, validation, and sharing the challenging space can be just what is needed.  Freedom from struggle doesn't have to be accompanied by big dramatic fireworks; it can occur simply through connection...  The photo above was taken of injured monarchs connecting outside our office.  They emerged in the same vicinity, but gravitated towards each other in this way...they were unable to fully take flight, but they had each other for support.  Nature always reminds us of powerful lessons.

If it's time for you to reach out for help and find your path to freedom, call upon your courage and talk with a family member, friend, loved one, or spiritual mentor. If those are not viable options or do not feel safe, google your way towards support.  We are also just a phone call away.  If you are needing support outside of our scope of practice and experience, we can refer you to someone more suitable for your needs.

Our expanded summer schedule continues through July and August...
