GUMP Parents' Night Out GUMP kids and siblings are invited to a Parents' Night Out following the art show from 6 to 8 p.m. Don't miss your chance to bid in the silent auction of special items closing at 8 p.m. Donations for childcare and auction proceeds benefit our GUMP programs and facilities.

Stockley Gardens Arts Festival on Saturday, May 21, 10a to 5p. The sale is on the front steps of the church facing the gardens. Hardcover books $1.50; paperback books 75 cents.

Parking Lot Fundraiser
Stockley Gardens Arts Festival
We are seeking volunteers to help with the Parking Lot fundraiser during the Spring
Stockley Gardens Arts Festival.
People from the community seek to park in our lot during the festival, and are eager to pay a small donation to be able to do so. We have signs and parking cones to make the job manageable for volunteers. We need two volunteers per shift.

We are preparing Health Kits to send with Pastor Melody and Russ Evett to the 2016 Annual Conference in Roanoke, June 17-19.
War. Earthquakes. Floods. Tornadoes. All these disasters disrupt the lives of thousands of people. Health kits are distributed by
UMCOR to people displaced by natural disasters and human conflicts. We are collecting monetary donations to purchase kit supplies in bulk. If you would rather assemble a kit (or more!) on your own, a list of items and instructions can be found by
clicking here. The cost of one kit is about $12.00, payable to Ghent UMC. All kits and monetary donations are due by Mon., May 30.

Cave Quest
Bring your kids to Vacation Bible School and ground them in the rock-solid foundation of God's love, a love that takes us through life's dark times. This summer's VBS is Mon., Jul. 25, through Fri., Jul. 29, 9 a.m. to noon, snack provided.
We welcome preschool age children (ages 3 to 5 who are potty-trained) and elementary age children, from rising kindergartners through rising 5th graders. The cost is free, however, donations are gratefully accepted.
