LOTS TO SIGN UP FOR AT DISCOVER SANTA 2016!
PARADE OF RED SUITS - July 7, 7:00 a.m. Branson Landing
Yes, we have over 1,000 participants in "The Parade of Red Suits, and out Parade committee needs a little help in the finaly organization. If you are planning on having a group or vehicle in the parade we need to know.
Groups need to sign up so that we can position or line you up and have something in the program and announcer's script. We also need to know so that we can give you instructions on how we will be lining everyone up and what size sign or banner you can have to announce your group.
If you have a vehicle, we need to know what it looks like. And, if you have already submitted your vehicle, we also need a description for the program and to give to the announcer for parade.
Those not signing up will not be assigned or included in the script, and will be assigned to a single large group of un-assigned Santas and Mrs. Claus. Members belonging to national group, but not assigned, nor not a member of a local group can march with their national group. Anyone not a member of any local, regional or national group will be joined with others in an "At-large" group.
GOLF OUTING - JULY 6, 9:00 am Thousand Hills Golf Course
For those of you who golf, we have made arrangements for tee times at a fantastic local goft courses, Thousand Hills It will not be a full fledged golf tournament, with only a few dozen golfers. But it will be lots of fun.
Branson actually has six wonderful courses in the area and we have chosen Thousand Hills as it is close to all of our hotels. More details on this event can be found, plus registration by clicking on the link below.
AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE - JULY 6, 9 a
m to 3 pm
Why not consider giving o ne of life's most precious gifts, blood. We all know Santa as a gift giver. And yes, blood is one of the highest gifts you can give. It's a gift of life.
Santa Kevin Scott hosted the first blood drive down in Florida last year and it met with wonderful results. Now he is organizing our blood drive and the Red Cross is going for a Guiness Book World Record for the most Kringles donating blood on one day. The drive will take place at the Chateau on the Lake and you can sign up on the web site.
"MY OTHER CAR IS A SLEIGH" - CAR SHOW, JULY 6, 9 am to 3 pm
Many Santas are very proud of their 'wheels!' From simple signs and lettering to custom paint jobs to completely wrapped vehicles, there are lots who love to show off.
So we are settng aside a special area in the parking lot of the Chateau so that everyone can display their vehicles and sleighs.
Additionally we will also have a special staging area at the "Parade of Red Suits," where some of the cars will be on display. A few might even be invited to be in the parade. For details visit our web site.
