Harbingers of spring are all around us.
As Daylight Savings Time (March 13) adds more sunshine to our days, please join us as we celebrate timely Library events.
In tribute to the 112th birthday of our beloved Dr. Seuss, the children of the JFHML Preschool Story Hour will welcome Magician Robert Halbrook for a Magic Show on Wednesday, March 2 @ 10:30.

AARP Tax Help, offered each Tuesday -Wednesday afternoon from noon-4 pm, continues through April 13. Call the Library at 546-8005 to set up your appointment. This much appreciated service helps over 400 residents prepare and file their income and property taxes each year. This service is provided FREE of CHARGE to low and middle income individuals with an emphasis on helping seniors.
The JFHML Friends Foundation, which is the fundraising arm of the Hallett Library, has begun it's Membership Drive for 2016. Please consider becoming a Friend. If you are already a JFHML Friend, your renewal may be submitted at any time! The Friends were formed in 2011 to help with sustaining Library funding. Their impact has been immediate and substantial. With the help of our Friends, the JFHML has been able to offer programming, materials and technology to serve the needs of the patrons we serve. The Friends operate Backstreet Books, the successful on-site used book & gift store and offer other fundraisers throughout the year for special wish-list items. We have several Business Friends (listed to the right on this e-newsletter) which we prominently rotate each week on our electronic sign on the highway. This week, our sign declares:
THANK YOU BUSINESS FRIEND~
Den of Antiquity.
We are grateful and appreciative of our partnerships within the community. We partner with CRMC and Crosby-Ironton School District #182 for e-book access for all. We have found that by working together absolutely ANYTHING is possible!
Thank you once again for your partnership with us as we present the best public library we possibly can---- to YOU!
Happy Spring!
