MAKING A DIFFERENCE: MATEO'S STORY
Congrats to the 5th grade at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish School in West Chester, PA for
their successful LifeStraw fundraiser. The idea came from 5th-grader, Mateo, who was born in Guatemala and adopted by a family in the U.S. When Mateo discovered the CELF LifeStraw campaign, he referenced the poverty in Guatemala and the meager surroundings in which he started his life as motivation for getting involved.
Mateo's 5th grade class held a bake sale and the funds raised were used to purchase LifeStraw filtration systems for schools in Nepal. Way to go, Mateo & St. Maximilian for Making a Difference! Learn more about LifeStraw
