Greetings,

I hope you have had a good summer and that you had the chance to enjoy the delightfully cool weather. It seems the dog days were howling elsewhere this year; for that we can be grateful.

Labor Day weekend marks transitions: from summer to fall, from warm to cool, from vacation to school for the kids; it also celebrates the contributions and importance of the American Worker to our way of life. It is a time to get together with family and friends to bid farewell to summer and to look forward to the challenges of autumn.

I want to thank you for your support of the 23rd District team during the June primary. I would like to continue as your District 23A delegate for the next four years and hope that I have earned your vote in the upcoming November Election. With your help the 23rd District team and I will keep working to make life better for everyone in our state and county by ensuring a safe workplace environment and a living wage for all our work force. We are eager to face the challenges that await us as legislators in the coming months.

As summer ends, I encourage you to consider what priorities, issues and concern you and your neighborhoods may have that the legislature should consider in the coming 2015 legislative session and feel free to contact my office. I am available to attend your community homeowner meetings or help organize a community meeting to hear your priorities, issues and concerns. I welcome your thoughts, comments and suggestions at [email protected] or [email protected] or calling 301-858-3101/410-841-3101. Take care and I will continue visiting and door knocking in your neighborhoods because I can best bring your voice to Annapolis when I fully understand your needs.

Sincerely,

 Geraldine
