Facilitating Global Impact
February 2016
    Hello Viki,

The condition of our hearts, both physically and spiritually, influences everything about our lives. We are so thankful for a God who knows our hearts!
Heart Attacks, Sweethearts & Bravehearts
by Jacquie Jensen

As women, we can appreciate the importance of pastors’ wives being trained to help in the ministry. This is especially needed in Cameroon, Africa, where the Grace Brethren movement is fairly young, and there are only ten trained pastors for the 40 churches and 40 church plants that have sprung up. Twenty-five male students and their wives have moved to

Yaoundé, Cameroon, to begin studies at Cameroon Leadership Training, a Bible school which aims to equip and mentor pastors.
Jacquie Jensen shares some highlights in Heart Attacks, Sweethearts, and  Bravehearts:

Cameroon Project
Funds are needed to also provide training for the wives of these men. This month we encourage you to show your love for these women by contributing to their training. An estimated $4000 is needed each year for the training of the pastors’ wives. To invest in their ministry preparation donate here.
Prayer Watch
Pray for the pastors' wives in Cameroon who are preparing for ministry alongside their husbands. The challenges are great, yet they persevere.
Pray, too, for your leaders who pour out their lives on your behalf. They also face challenges and need you to uphold them before the Lord.

Spectrum Deadline
There are only a few days left to submit your thoughts on power that overcomes for the next issue of the Women’s Spectrum magazine. Do you have a story of the power of God at work in a person or situation? Please share it with us. To find out how, go to our writer’s guidelines. If you would prefer to share your story with someone who can write it for you, please contact us at spectrum@wgusa.org.

There's Still Room
If you were a single mother, how would you support your family? This is a real challenge for women in Haiti, some of whom have had little opportunity to develop job skills. Our next Women’s Ministry team will be in Haiti June 22-28 with a special purpose to teach moms to sew so they can support their families. The team will also help with children and other ministries.

Have you been thinking about joining this team? It's not too late. Application deadline has been extended to March 1. Visit our webpage for information on how to apply.

We're also accepting donations to purchase 12 sewing machines to leave in Haiti as a source of income for single moms.
Musings for Moms: What's Worrying You?
By Kate Ward
