DCSD's budget team is among a rare few school districts in the nation that have earned budget awards from both the Government Finance Officers Association and the Association of School Business Officials International. What makes it even better is that this is the second consecutive year DCSD's budget team has won both honors.

POINTS OF PRIDE
Congratulations to Douglas County School District students who have successfully auditioned and earned spots in the 2016 All State Band, Orchestra and Choir. 
5A Girls Swim and Dive state finals took place in Fort Collins at the Eudora Swim and Ice Center on Saturday, February 13th.  DCSD girls finished strong with two first place swims by Abigail Kochevar at Rock Canyon and several top five finishes by other excellent swimmers. Read more
DCHS senior recognized as DAR Good Citizen by the Daughters of the American Revolution
Douglas County High School senior Olivia Taylor Young is being recognized as the DAR Good Citizen by the Castle Rock chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Olivia is in the International Baccalaureate program and maintains a 4.28 GPA. She advances to consideration for the national DAR Good Citizen Award and Scholarship. Congratulations Olivia!
