Coffeehouse Fundraiser for Guatemala

Now is the perfect time to join the Choir!
Join the Easter Choir as we begin working on the Palm Sunday Cantata entitled "The Power of the Cross" and special music for Easter Sunday. Easter Choir rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 6:45pm to 7:45pm and Chancel Choir practice will run from 7:45pm to 8:45pm. We are delighted to announce that childcare is available for both Tuesday evening rehearsals. We hope more young adult singers will join us for this special event.

Justin Crisp, our new Tech Director, is hosting a special luncheon for anyone interested in learning more about this valuable behind the scenes ministry. All are welcome, no experience necessary.

-Now Weekend for 7th-12th Graders
March 4 - March 6
All 7th-12th graders should mark their calendars for March 4th & 5th. We'll meet at HMUMC at 5pm on Friday, March 4. We'll be attending the Disciple Now retreat hosted at Crosspointe church. We'll be staying in host homes on Friday night and returning to D-Now on Saturday morning. Cost includes transportation, meals (Friday dinner and 3 meals on Saturday), a t-shirt and tons of fun with HMStudentMin friends. We'll share and learn about being His disciples, grow in our faith, and have FUN!
2016 Confirmation Retreat
March 11 - 13, 2016
Calling all participants of the 2015-16 confirmation class! Join us as we venture to Lake Junaluska Retreat and Conference Center. We'll meet on Friday at 4:15pm and spend the weekend learning about the Christian faith. Duffy Robbins will be our speaker for the weekend. Cost includes room, transportation, and meals for the weekend. Plan to eat before dropoff on Friday or bring a sack lunch. We'll travel by bus to the retreat and spend our weekend together deepening our faith.
Ignite Sunday Night Dinner Volunteers Needed

WinShape Kickoff Week: March 6 - March 12
It's almost time to kick off registration for WinShape Camp 2016 at HMUMC! March 6 is a Sunday you do not want to miss! We will announce our early discount registration for completed 1st - 6th grade campers, volunteer opportunity discounts, and this year's scholarship goal to help send deserving children in our community to camp, so they can learn more about the God who loves them! WinShape Camp Week: July 18 - July 22.

VBS campers will have a blast this summer from June 6 - June 10. The 2016 VBS theme is Cave Quest! Join us as we follow Jesus - the light of the world! Registration for campers opens March 15. VBS is a highlight of the children's ministry calendar!

Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt
Sunday, March 20 at 4:00pm
Hop on over to the church for a family fun Easter Celebration. The Easter Bunny is coming to HMUMC with baskets full of eggs stuffed with sweet treats and a few special prizes too.
PLEASE HELP THE EASTER BUNNY prepare for this special event by donating plastic Easter eggs stuffed and taped closed. No peanut products please! Donation bins are located by the Rooftop.
