 Votes Are In!
Incumbents get Thumbs up!

If you weren't able to make the annual membership meeting this past weekend, you missed the announcement of the election results.

When the votes were counted, incumbents Jim Karamanis and Keith Lawrence were re-elected for another term on the Board.

Ian Wisbon was elected to fill the Board position vacted by Ed Valpey, who had reached his term limit.

Congratulations to everyone and a big thanks to Ed for his many years of service.

Ed will continue in his role as Chief Driving Instructor where he has been instrumental in developing one of the best driver's schools in the country. The school, held annually, in conjunction with the Jefferson 500 at Summit Point is a great opportunity for those looking to begin vintage racing and for those more experienced to really hone their skill set even sharper.

Great Weekend of Racing

VRG's NJ Historics at NJMP is now in the record books. Weather was great and the on track action was outstanding. If you didn't have it on your calendar this year, make a note to get there next year as it was a blast.

Moving forward, our next event will be the classic Turkey Bowl at Summit Point in November. This is a laid back event giving you a chance to break out the car for one last session before putting it away for the winter.

Event Chair, Michael Oritt, is planning another great event, so try to get this one on the calendar.

  Sincerely,
 Storm Field
