I wanted to bring your attention to a meeting tomorrow evening, Wednesday December 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Capitol Heights Elementary School. It is being hosted by the Prince George's County Public School System to help parents of children from grade 2-8 better understand their child's PARCC report card. PARCC is Maryland's new accountability program which is replacing the Maryland School Assessment (MSAs).
"Event attendees will discuss the relevance of PARCC, identify components of PARCC reports, share relevance of scores, and review PARCC & PGCPS resources to strengthen and improve student achievement.
Parents are encouraged to review or bring their child's PARCC Home Report along with any questions to the event."
