This event provides a way for a diverse spectrum of people who care about our community to work together side-by-side in an effort to make it cleaner & greener.
We're providing bags, gloves, water, and maps to a specific area surrounding the lake. We're meeting at Stars & Stripes park to receive our assigned areas and All you have to do is choose a time - 9 AM - Noon OR Noon - 3 PM .
As bags are filled, they are tied close and left near the road where Commissioner Maughan's SHINE crew will pick them up for disposal.
We'll be recognizing all participating groups on Social Media and in the OKC Friday News! You can come alone, bring some friends, or recruit your whole office to help out the cause. This is also a fantastic way for students to earn community service hours for honor society and the Student SHINE recognition program.

We're calling on Businesses, School Groups, Churches, and Civic Organizations who are part of NWOKC.
