2015 Volunteer of the Year - Lori Lazuk
2015 Kickoff We are thrilled to announce Lori Lazuk as the 2015 Rocky Mountain BEST Volunteer of the Year. Lori's support was critical to multiple 2015 volunteer positions .

Lori is one of the co-leads of the Student Teams  Consumable Kit subcommittee. With JoAnne Fry, she determines how many Consumable parts we have and therefore how many we need to order. Lori lead the ordering and receiving of all those parts for 30 Consumable Kits. Then she leads the entire Kit Team in the many-week-long task of counting and organizing all the hundreds of Consumable parts for the "Day of "Kitting" to hand out to the student teams at Kickoff.
Lori also leads the Outreach Program with Kathy Geise.  She organizes all student-related activities at our many outreach events including Robotics at the Hangar (RATH), Girls in the Middle, STEMOSHPHERE and the Erie Air Fair.
In addition, Lori stepped up to co-lead our 2015 Teacher / Mentor Institute Program. She lead 2 separate TMI events, one in Trinidad for SoCo BEST @TrinidadState and one at MSU Denver for RM BEST and FR BEST. We could NOT have done it without you, Lori! Thanks so much for your hard work and ready smile.
