It's Your Venice -- Get Involved!

BOARD MEETING LOCATION CHANGE
Due to the closure of LAUSD today, tonight's (12/15/2015) Venice Neighborhood Council 
Board meeting has been moved to the Community Room at Oakwood Recreation Center, 767California Ave (enter from 7
th Ave)
 
Because of time limitations at this venue, we will have to end the meeting at 9:45 and therefore will have to make adjustments to the agenda. We are working with the makers of the motions on our agenda now to determine what can be delayed to our January meeting (scheduled for January 19th).
 
A motion to amend the agenda will be made postponing the following:
 
12.B   533 Rose Ave(Superba Snack Bar)
12.C   658 Venice (Extra Space Storage)
12.D   Amendments to the Venice Land Use Plan
13.A   Grassy Knolls allowed to be maintained by community partners
 
Any items pulled from the Consent Calendar(s) will be heard at our next meeting rather than at tonight's meeting. Debate on other motions many be limited as needed to make the agenda fit.

We will also be collecting new, unwrapped, nonviolent toys at tonight's meeting for this year's Great Venice Toy Drive & Holiday Festival.  

The toy drive and holiday festival are a Venice Neighborhood Council outreach event and a great way to show off all of the things the Neighborhood Council has to offer.  Please support it in any way you can.
