New Year's Eve Dance
December 21

Ring in the new year while helping make wishes come true for kids in the Aberdeen area. The annual Make-A-Wish® New Year's Eve Dance  includes a silent auction, penny raffle, food, and music by the Something New Band.

The Reason: A Family Christmas Experience
December 11

The Reason is a night of powerful music from Jeremy Camp, creative videos, and an energizing Gospel message from Nick Hall to celebrate the reason for the Christmas season! This energetic night is designed for all ages and families to share together, as well as a great opportunity to invite friends to join you.

 
Kids & Family Activities

Homespun Holidays will feature live Christmas music, cookie decorating, hand crafted decorations and ornaments for the children, a buffet of holiday treats and the historic Museum will be sparkling with Christmas items around the building.

This basketball tournament is for girls in grades 3 - 9 at gymnasiums throughout Aberdeen. Teams comes from the 5 state area including South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska.

Exhibits & Galleries
December 5, 12, 19

There will be seven model railroads operating in a Christmas setting. Thomas the train will be running on a Lionel layout. See long "ho" scale trains up to 100 cars operating on the "ho" layout. An American Flyer Train will be running around a Christmas tree in a Christmas town setting.
 

Lectures, Workshops & Seminars
December 5

Create a winter themed fairy garden. Cost includes a 16" container, soil and both natural pea rock or white rock for snow. Fairy Garden accessories can be purchased separately.
