Redwood City & San Mateo County Toy and Book Drive
There are several ways you can contribute and help make this a great Christmas for families that need a little extra help. Check out this list of ways that you and your family can help by either collecting toys and books, hosting a Toy & Book Barrel at your establishment or making a tax deductible donation. Click here.

Does Your Family Need Help?
Sign-ups for the Toy and Book Drive are happening now. To sign up your family to receive toys and books from the Toy and Book Drive, please sign up in person at the Fair Oaks Community Center - 2600 Middlefield Road, Redwood City 94063. 650.780.7500
  • Monday, November 23: 9:00am-1:00pm
  • Tuesday, November 24: 2:30-6:30pm
  • Tuesday, December 1: 2:30-6:30pm

  • Wednesday, December 2: 9:00am-1:00pm

  • Thursday, December 3: 2:30-6:30pm

  • Friday, December 4: 9:00am-1:00pm

Redwood City Events is chock-full of Holiday Cheer in the coming weeks!

From tomorrow's final 3D Light Show on the Square to next week's Hometown Holidays, the Chanukah Festival, and the Nutcracker and of course the party of the year- The 3rd Annual Silicon Valley Ball on the 12th- The fun is still alive and well in Redwood City! Closed for the Holidays

All of our Community Centers will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday, November 26 and 27. In addition to those closure dates, there will be no Open Gym at Red Morton on Saturday, the 28th. 

We hope that you and your family can enjoy this special time of thanks together. Take advantage of this beautiful place we live in and get outside! Parks Make Life Better!
