Chuck Jones and "The Jungle Book"
While a Vice President for children's programming at ABC-TV in the 1970s, Chuck Jones produced and directed three tales from Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book", a book, by-the-way, that he had read as a child and which had had an influence on him. The animated specials were "The White Seal" in 1974; "Rikki Tikki Tavi", 1975 and "Mowgli's Brothers", 1976.
