This jacket is available in six popular colors; we've shown two of them here.  Just click through to see the others.  Hurry though, some of the colors are almost sold out and the others are going fast!

The GX Sport 3 jacket is a great all-purpose street sport textile style. The jacket has climate control features for three season conditions and wet weather (fall, winter, spring). The jacket has a removable full-sleeve thermal liner which will add a lot of insulation against cold weather, and of course the outer shell will block cold air. The jacket offers waterproof construction by way of a mid-liner (a waterproof barrier between the jacket’s shell and the nylon mesh interior lining). So the jacket’s solid textile shell, the removable thermal liner and the integral rainproof barrier will let you adjust for almost any mild to cold and/or wet weather.

Availability:  Sizes XS through XXXL in at least one of the six colors, although selection is getting thin.  If you've been thinking about getting one, you'd better act fast!

MSRP $224.99

The LRX Series 3 jacket is one of the better looking women's jackets that we've seen.  The cut is flattering and looks good on every woman we've tried it on.  Not only does it look good, but it performs well too.

Just like the men's GX Sport 3 jacket shown above, this jacket is going to work great from fall through spring.... For waterproofing, there is a waterproof lining situated between the outer shell and the inner lining which should effectively keep out most all the water, and there's a full sleeve thermal liner for insulating warmth.  Of course you get CE approved armor in the elbows and shoulders.

Availability:  XS through XL in at least one of the four colors shown.  There are also Plus sizes and even a couple Tall sizes left.

MSRP $149.99

The Cortech women's jacket shown above is more of a sport riding style.  The Tour Master model shown below is ideal for touring or commuting.  This style is a little longer and has even more storage options.

  • The 400 denier nylon dobby 3/4 length shell combines with a waterproof/breathable Rainguard® barrier
  • Waterproof zippered chest/sleeve vents and rear exit vents provide flow-through ventilation
  • Tour Master’s Ladies Z.O.Q. (Zip-Out Quilted) Liner features a comfortable color-matched taffeta liner
  • Zippered chest map pocket, hand warmer pockets, internal pouch pocket and mobile media pocket
  • CE approved protection at the shoulders and elbows
MSRP $169.99

Availability:  Small through XL in at least one of the three colors shown.  There are also Plus sizes and even a couple Tall sizes left.
New Product Reviews
We have finished reviewing new boots from Bates this week.  This is a company that has been around since the 1800s making all sorts of shoes and boots (but not related to Bates Leathers, makers of the old Fastlane boots).

In recent decades Bates focused on  footwear for military and police use.  Now they're putting all that expertise into boots for motorcyclists, and so we are carrying three of their new styles.
These boots are a taller lace-up style built on a molded sole. The sole has a lot of arch support I notice and feels nice. The bottoms are relatively flat with just a slight indent where you’d rest them on the pegs. The overall weight of both styles is surprisingly low which will make them good walking boots for off the bike too. I like the feel of the higher lace-up boots. They are tall enough to cover the ankle well and feel more stable than the sneaker-type boots.............( more)

The Beltline boot is a mix of leather with nylon panels and is very similar to the Adrenaline boot shown above.  The Beltline’s laces are “speed laces” which are recessed and the Adrenaline’s laces are the traditional kind. Pick your poison I guess.  Both styles have the wrap-over protector where your shifter will hit. And both boots have a very nice reinforced piece around the heel of the boot............( more)

Bates Taser boots look to be part boot, part sneaker. The sole is flat like a sneaker, but the sole is surprisingly thick. If you like a sneaker style and like the idea of “getting a lift” then you’ll like the approx 1 1/2” thickness of the sole in the heel area (see our close-up pictures and do the math).  The boots have a built in waterproof liner and the gaiter under the tongue comes up about 2/3 of the height, so they should do a pretty good job of keeping your feet dry.............( more)
